Women and Marginalised Genders

College Life

I am absolutely loving my time as the Women and Marginalised Genders' Officer, especially at a College as welcoming as Peterhouse. I love me some intersectional feminism, so, through my position on the JCR, I hope to create an environment at Peterhouse where women and non-binary people, of all backgrounds, fell safe, respected, supported and welcomed. As part of my role, I will be ensuring the fair and accessible provision of period products in college, organising consent workshops, and running fun events to support the WMG members of Peterhouse, highlight and facilitate discussion around WMG issues, and celebrate the achievements of women and non-binary people, at our College, the University and beyond! I am always here to help you with whatever you need, from starting a disciplinary procedure, to having a chat or a cuppa together and providing a supportive and sympathetic listening ear. I am always here to help, so please don't hesitate to reach out!
