Peterhouse Choir

The Chapel Choir of Peterhouse consists of friendly but dedicated singers who all aspire to the highest quality of liturgical music making. The choir sings evensong twice weekly (Fridays and Sundays), and rehearses on Wednesdays. All rehearsals and services are followed by complimentary formal hall. The choir is run by the two organ scholars, and while maintaining a diverse range of repertoire, specialise in early liturgical music befitting the chapel's history.


Cathedrals trips happen every term, offering a chance to explore new acoustics and buildings as well as a welcome excursion in the middle of term. Recently the choir have gone to Westminster Abbey, Canterbury Cathedral, Gloucester Cathedral and St George's Chapel, Windsor.

Finally the choir enjoy a heavily subsidised tour at the end the of the year in which they perform concerts of lighter music as well as liturgical services.
